In general, storing rubber parts should be avoided because rubber parts wear out during storage. However, if it is necessary to store rubber parts, there are ways to slow down the aging process:

Ensure the temperature in the storage area is between -10°C and 20°C
Store in a dark room and protect from ultraviolet light
Do not store ozone-producing equipment near or within the storage area
Organic solvents, acids, odor producing products etc. Do not store in storage room
Do not store rubber parts near radiators
Cover rubber parts or store them in bags or boxes to reduce air circulation, as exposure to air will accelerate the aging process.
Store rubber parts flat, free of clutter and tension-free
Store similar rubber parts of different materials separately

* Make sure that the current operating conditions (temperature and flow rates) comply with the design values.
* During the first commissioning, remove the air from the installation connected to the heat exchanger, but in this process, open and close the valves slowly to prevent pressure shocks and water hammer.
* Use filters and strainers to prevent the sediments carried by the fluids from clogging the heat exchanger.
* Check temperature and pressure changes daily and watch for signs of leakage that may occur outside the heat exchanger.
* Ensure that the heat exchanger studs are cleaned and well lubricated at regular intervals.
* Opening of heat exchangers is one of the most important factors affecting their lifespan. Therefore, prevent unnecessary trips by following the original performance values.
* If possible, use the CIP (Chemical Circulation Cleaning) method to delay opening the heat exchanger for cleaning.
* If there are spare units, always keep them clean and dry. If the working heat exchanger is disabled, flush it with clean water and empty it.
*Ensure that the heat exchanger is not exposed to excessive water and rain. Protect from ultraviolet rays and ozone that may form from electrical sources.
* For guaranteed, long-lasting performance and reliability, use only original spare parts. Ensure critical spare parts are in stock and in appropriate storage conditions.

Possible reasons:
The accumulation of undesirable substances on a surface.
Low shear stress in channel plate walls.
Operating conditions differ from design parameters. Chemical reactions, precipitation, etc. Possibility of poor fluid distribution in cases where plate heat exchangers are parallel
Recommended solutions:
Perform chemical or mechanical cleaning.
Verify that the actual flow rate is consistent with the designed flow rate of the exchanger.
Consider redesign or plate removal, examine channel plate wall shear stress or alternative plate pressing options.
Consider installing inline filters.
Precautions for the future:
Optimized clean-in-place (CIP) procedures carried out according to instructions are the smartest way to combat contamination.
You may also consider removing some plates to increase shear stress, improve heat transfer surface area, or replace them with plates of different pressing depths.

Closed circulation
Circulation is achieved by connecting a solution sent via the CIP discharge line to the CIP pressure line via the return line, without being placed in any tank.

Advantages of this feature:

• Sanitation can be done without using tanks
• Ensuring effective washing by disinfecting lines and equipment with mechanical effect
• Reducing water and energy consumption in the sanitation process
• Extending spare parts life
• Faster and reducing labor costs

We would like you to know that if the heat exchanger is opened mechanically, the gasket life will be reduced by half.
